Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Our client is actively searching for a highly skilled Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join their expanding team. As a pioneering fintech startup, they focus on developing cutting-edge infrastructure for flexible payment solutions through their innovative SaaS platform.

About the Role:

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing advanced machine learning solutions to enhance the consumer experience within the flexible payment solutions domain. Your role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of machine learning initiatives for critical fintech products and features.
• Take ownership of the end-to-end machine learning process, including problem formulation, data gathering, model development, testing, and deployment.
• Innovate and create machine learning solutions for emerging product opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with product, data science, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure seamless integration of machine learning into the product lifecycle.
• Identify and understand customer needs through thorough research and analysis of existing data.
• Utilize and contribute to the evolution of the internal machine learning framework to drive impactful insights.
• Uphold strong convictions on machine learning decisions to ensure the development of high-quality products.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing machine learning solutions for complex software applications.
• Proficiency in documenting and communicating the machine learning process, with a strong foundation in leveraging data for decision-making.
• Proven experience in deploying machine learning models, especially in a production environment.
• Advanced knowledge of machine learning frameworks, libraries, and tools, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, and Keras.
• Expertise in programming languages like Python and proficiency in relevant libraries and packages.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for deploying and managing machine learning models.
• Experience in working with big data technologies such as Apache Spark or Hadoop.
• Academic background: Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
